Tim Wang joined Ecolab in 2010 as Vice President, strategy and business development of Global Food & Beverage Sector. He is responsible for business strategy, M&A and special projects for Food and Beverage, and Water, Energy and Waste businesses.
Tim received his B.S. & M.S. with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Tim began his career with GE Lighting in Shanghai. He was transferred to GE Corporate in the United States and had gone through a series of rotations of increased responsibility in product management, corporate audit staff, internal business consulting and corporate M&A. In 2003 he left to pursue his MBA at Harvard and did his summer internship with Goldman Sachs (Asia). Tim graduated from Harvard Business School with high distinction (Baker Scholar). After his MBA, he joined Cooper Industries' Crouse-Hinds division as VP & General Manager Asia Pacific Region, and led the business tripling size to $150MM in five years.
